I. BIBLICAL MANDATE

“But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”

Matthew 19:14

II. THEME

“Transforming future generations for the Kingdom of God”

III. MISSION STATEMENT

We exist for the holistic formation of children to live in faith in God, and through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to face and overcome the circumstances and challenges of life, to become the person God created them to be, and to be able to make a difference for a transformed and functional society.

IV. Our Statement of Faith

We believe…..

In the LORD

Our triune holy, perfect, omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent and sovereign ruler and LORD: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit represent the Trinity of God represent ONE GOD who have distinct attributes were present during creation.

In the Bible

The Bible is the complete Word of God, without error in the original writings, and the complete revelation of God’s will to mankind.  The Bible is also the also the divine and final authority for Christian faith practice and life.

God Created Male and Female

Then God said, “Let us make man[h] in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Genesis 1:28. God disapproves of and forbids any attempt to alter one’s gender, by surgery, drugs or appearance because only God created mankind and therefore the One who created the two genders: male and female (Genesis 2:18-22).

All Human Life Is Sacred

Because man was created in the image of God all human life is sacred.  No one has the right to willfully and with malice kill another human being.  Abortion is a sin against God and man because a fetus is a human being with unalienable rights from His Creator to this life. Rape is a sin against God, but a child conceived through it is still under God’s protection and any attempt to destroy his life is offensive to God.  Adoption is an acceptable practice for these children to have a family if the mother is unable to forgive the rape.

The Human Condition

Created for and having a perfect relationship with God in the beginning, but man chose to sin. As such, and since then, man’s heart is wicked and fallen, and totally hopeless to change this condition on his own. In his natural condition, man gravitates to sin and in rebellion in thought and in deed. The ultimate desirable condition for every human being is to be in union with God because he is sinfully lost and in need of a Savior.

Grace

Grace is the free gift, unmerited, unearned, and undeserved favor that He has bestowed upon mankind through their belief in the sacrifice of His only begotten Son for the remission of their sins. Grace is the beginning of a new era for the follower of Christ so that he can live out a God-honoring life, through loving and serving others in like manner. A follower of Christ cannot withhold grace from another human being because it negates his understanding of the meaning and reach of grace.

The Lord Jesus Christ

The Lord Jesus Christ is God incarnate, who being fully man, was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, is the full representation of the deity of the Father.  The Bible testifies of His death on the cross, as a sacrifice for our sins, that He arose from the dead in bodily form, and likewise, He ascended into heaven. He sits at the right hand of the Father. He is now our High Priest and only Advocate before the Father. He is the only one who saves mankind from his wicked, sinful state. The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His Resurrection provide the only way by which man be saved, and only those who believe in Jesus and who receive Him as Lord and Savior are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become children of God, and have eternal life with God.

The Work Of The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit testifies to the glory of God and the Lord Jesus Christ, working to convict men of sin, repentance and to help man be restored into relationship with the Lord.  By indwelling the heart of every believer upon Salvation, it restores, guides, teaches, and empowers believers to live the Christian life.  The Holy Spirit is Spirit, we cannot see Him, but He makes Himself known to us through the life of Christ, the Word, and through the Church.  He reveals God to us.

Common Grace

Common grace is a blessing to the saved and the unsaved who are also image-bearers of God. As such, common grace does not save anyone from eternal death. Through it God holds back His final judgment so that mankind is not completely destroyed while on earth (Gen 9:8-11), but until His final judgement at His appointed time.  But it provides blessings through gifts and talents for all people, believers, and unbelievers because the LORD possesses a disposition of love toward all he created (Hosea 3:1), but not wanting them to remain in that condition.

The Church

The Church is made of all people who through the saving faith in Jesus Christ have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together as the Body of Christ of which He is the Head. The church purpose is to glorify God by bringing others to a knowledge of God. The church is called to be holy, and to mercifully serve the poor and needy, orphans, and widows (James 1:27). The church is God’s instrument to offer grace and peacemaking among men, to carry out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20) by evangelizing, baptizing and making disciples who will be equipped to serve in like manner so that the Gospel of Christ can be preached around the world.

Marriage between One Man and One Woman

Ordained by God, marriage is the union between one man and one woman, and that ANY sexual activity such as fornication, adultery, homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, pornography, pedophilia, incest and animalism are sinful perversions of God’s gift of sexuality and prohibited in the Old and New Testaments along with others sinful activity (Leviticus 18, 1 Corinthians 6:9–10, 1 Timothy 1:9–10, Jude 1:7).

The Family

Instituted by God, a family is formed by one man and one woman, and the children who come from such union are God’s blessing that come with a responsibility to bring these children to the knowledge of God, to provide for their material needs, education, to model the character of Christ, and to a proper discipline that they become God-honoring contributing members of society.

The Existence of Orphans

Every human society and even in the animal kingdom, the loss of a parent or both parents by death or separation creates an ORPHAN.  Every child is a blessing from God, yet by no fault of their own, some children are abandoned by their natural parents or one parent. This creates a social orphan that in all aspects is just as needy as the orphaned child by the death of a parent. The orphan condition sometimes is not due to the absence of a parent but to the ravages of poverty from which many are unable to fully provide to the needs of the child/children..  This children need the loving care and merciful giving of the Church.

Jesus’ Return

Prior to the final return of the Lord Jesus Christ, He will be visible in the sky to all mankind and He will rapture His church at this time. This precedes the seven-year tribulation period and after this time, Jesus will return triumphant and in glory and all evil will be banished from earth.

The Resurrection Of All Mankind

All mankind will be bodily resurrected. The saved and the unsaved will be resurrected, some to everlasting life with Jesus and others to eternal judgment and punishment.

V. OBJECTIVES

  1. We are a Christ-centered ministry with the purpose of equipping children to know God, personally, and helping them to reach the potential for which they were created.  We will do this without coercion and free from physical, mental, emotional, or psychological abuse.
  2. We will do this partly by having every child have a sponsor who contributes monthly to help him with education, food, and clothing.
  3. Healthy children from birth through age 18 will receive the benefits of sponsorship as long as they remain in the church and in school.
  4. Every child in the program lives with his family or with his adoptive family.
  5. Every child will be encouraged to participate in family and community development starting with home chores and having opportunities to learn skills to serve their neighbors.
  6. We commit ourselves to help in the area of cognitive development and emotional intelligence, for every child the Lord brings into our care.
  7. We will seek opportunities to join other service organizations in the community for mutual collaboration.
  8. We are unable to help everyone because there is no organization that can do that, but we will promote other organizations that minister to children with special needs.
  9. As an organization that also promotes the physical well-being of children, we will promote sports organizations that enhance the physical fitness of children.

VI. Our Fundamental Core Values

  1. We are a Christ-centered, Spirit-led, child-focused organization.
  2. We are driven to equip every child to reach their God-given potential.
  3. We are servants together with Christ to lovingly serve orphaned, abandoned children and large needy families.
  4. We are passionate about bringing every child to Christ.
  5. We are committed to equipping families with attitudes and transformed behaviors through growth in the Word of God and the reason that the Church is our primary partner in this endeavor.
  6. We faithfully exhort one another to good works with grace, brotherly love, and truth with the partnering church and families within the sponsorship program.
  7. We are intentional in building transparent personal and working relationships with the sponsors, and with the partnering church with clear directives and honest accountability.
